PLEXION® Safety Information

Although rare, irritation has been reported when sodium sulfacetamide and sulfur are used on the skin. Stop PLEXION® and call your doctor if your skin becomes very red, swollen, blistered or crusted. Rarely, some patients may develop an allergy to PLEXION if used for a long time. Use only on the skin. Don’t get PLEXION in your eyes, on eyelids or lips, or mucous membranes. Avoid using on irritated skin. Do not use PLEXION products if you are allergic to sulfur or sulfonamides, or if you have kidney disease. It is not known if PLEXION is safe and effective in children under the age of 12.
